Outrage at closure of 3rd shop in The Cut in 2 months - Oppose another coffee shop

Southbank Glass & China in The Cut is to close on the 24th March following less than 2 months after the forced closure of Panbros and The Launderette

All 3 of these businesses have given great service to the local community and will be sadly missed.

Rumours have been rife for the past 2 months that  a deal has been struck with Costa Coffee and that this has resulted in these shops being forced out of business due to their Landlords requesting immediate 100% increase in their rent.

Octavia Hill Residents Association, with support from our Councilors , MP   and other local  residents Associations will do all possible to block planning permission and change of use.

What we want is local shops for local people not 3 coffee shops in 100  metres
